######Task: Upgrade the magento from 1.4 to 1.7
1.Use Magento connection to upgrade the Magento Core files;
After upgrade, it will be 503error on both of frontend and backend. This is because magentoenter into maintenance mode.
If it is necessary, i willcompare the Magento connect mode with Mage command mode.

2.After upgrade, come across following problem:
#SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 1025 Error on rename#
#SQLSTATE[23000]: Integrity constraint violation: 1062 Duplicateentry#

-<initStatements>SET NAMES utf8 ; SETFOREIGN_KEY_CHECKS=0;SETUNIQUE_CHECKS=0;</initStatements>
-Check the duplicate entry and remove them in thedatabase;

3.Check any problem when upgrading localMagento;

Mage_Core_Model_Resource_Setup This class is usedto run the sql directly or run the PHP scripts with SQLindirectly.

4.Tips;
Use mysql command source and load to load the database or usePHPMYADMIN's copy database function to copy data structure and dataitself.
