Technote (FAQ)   Problem This technote identifies the cause and resolution to the error, setup has detected at least another Rational product with a higher version, which might occur when upgrading the IBM® Rational® Suite RealTime version 2003.06.15 or 2003.06.16.   Cause The full error message is as follows: setup has detected at least another Rational product with a higher version number. Please use Rational Installed Product information application to find the appropriate version of software. This error occurs when there are IBM Rational Products installed on the system which have a higher build version than the Product being installed.   Solution If you are upgrading from Rational Products of version 2003.06.xx - 2003.06.14 to version 2003.06.15 or 2003.06.16, validate DisplayVersion DWord is set to the build number of 1.1.734 in the following registry keys.  我的做法，查询“A Rational Software Product”，然后备份其GUID项，然后删除，再安装就没问题了。安装完毕把备份文件导入。
