Using Instrumentation for cts/gts

Engineers don’t setup cts/gts environment, we can use am instrument command to debug.

 

Pls follow below steps to setup the debug environment:

 

1. Install cts apk: adb install CtsHardwareTestCases.apk

You can build it from source or you can get it from cts package that is downloaded from google server.

 

1. pm list instrumentation

Get the instrumentation information, below is a sample.

 

pm list instrumentation

1. Test whole module:

am instrument  -w android.hardware.cts/androidx.test.runner.AndroidJUnitRunner

1. Single module or case

am instrument -e class android.hardware.input
