Make sure USB ActiveSync on the Desktop is disabled.
Activate the bootloader:
Place the device on a flat surface.
While pressing and holding the Action and Power buttons, use your stylus to warm boot twice (pressing the recessed button on the bottom left corner of the device two consecutive times).
This puts the device in serial bootloader mode.
Insert the USB cable – Device screen shows it moves to USB bootloader mode.
Run mtty118.exe
Flash your image onto your Himalaya:
If loading a BIN file type the following:
USB> l flash.bin
OR
If loading an NB0 file type the following:
USB> lnb fls_keyed.nb0
You will see "Done" when the flash is complete.
Clear persistent storage: Hold down both “Camera” + “Record” hardware buttons (2 buttons on the left side of device) and warm boot. Use “Record” button to navigate and “Camera” button to set boot options. Set option “Format Storage” to YES. Afterwards, press “Action” button to reboot.
