To download a file from an url <url> to the given path <path> and name it as filename <filename>,

write these in a .js file and execute it with node.js .

const http = require('http'); // or 'https' for https:// URLs
const fs = require('fs');

var filename = ""; // with file extension
var url = ""; // with file extension

const file = fs.createWriteStream(filename);

const request = http.get(url, function(response) {
   response.pipe(file);

   // after download completed close filestream
   file.on("finish", () => {
       file.close();
       console.log("Download Completed");
