Today, the relationship between the family members is not as intimate as it used to be. Many new couples get divorced each year, and many children alienate from their parents day by day. What are the reasons for these phenomena?

 

To begin with, the government doesn’t attach enough importance to the construction of social welfare system, leading to more financial pressure to the family's daily life in this competitive society. Under the circumstances, many parents have to work over time and have limited time and energy to maintain their family. Besides, the society doesn’t advocate a healthy family life style. Instead, the media is flooded with self-fulfillment, which dilutes the care for other family members. Moreover, people lack consciousness of responsibility, without which the links between family members are weakened and the family may be damaged.

 

To solve this problem, the government should allot more funds for the reconstruction of social welfare system to improve people’s living standard. In addition, the society should pay more attention to the propaganda of a happy family life. For example, we can establish a “Family Day” to remind people of the importance of family. Family members should also make efforts to improve their relationship. They should spend more time together and share their feelings.

 

In conclusion, it’s important to remember that home is where heart is. We must cherish our family life as we living in the rapidly changing world.
