Running multipe agents in a single machine
If you like to run multiple agents in a single machine, you should run agents under the below constaints.
- Each agent should run with the different binary location. When updating agent by controller, the each agent get the updated packageand try to replace current binary, When more than two agent instance from a single binary. the updating process will be mixed up and mass up the agent’s binary. If you don’t use Agent Auto Update feature, you can skip this.
- Each agent should run with the different agent home path. As descirbed “Agent Home” section, it contains the each agent’s specific configuration and runtime data. So it’s important to specify the different home path per agent.
- Each agent should run with the different host id. controller differenciates the agents by ip and host id
