拿google talk 跟 msn/yahoo/skype 比较。这么多年来，我好像无数次的比较，无数次的被媒体和宣传所迷惑，乐此不疲的转换着软件，每次都很得意地跟周围的人显摆我用的软件，我用的盗版 windows95,"97",98,me,2k,xp.从98年开始安装了redhat5 + slackware, 没有用明白。当时觉得debian是一种神圣的复杂的系统，其实有什么呀，无非就是个网络安装加上apt而已。虽然现在对linux很适应了，但是工作不 允许，工作还是在用windows，firefox在linux下面也许写这个blog都会有点小问题。

老样子，我当天就装上了google talk，没啥感觉，也没啥人用！现在放在一边，看着挺不顺眼的！毕竟是大家推崇的，却没人跟我用！
这两天，我仔细想了一下，就像上面所说得那样，我自从用电脑以后就是不停的寻找新的软件，比较不同的编程语言，比较不同的操作系统，乐此不疲，浪费了不少时间。 不是到算不算是爱好？如果算的话，我真希望我的爱好是个户外运动，就像最近去钓鱼那样子岂不是更好。
以下是不经意看到的，老外也在比较，也在崇拜google。google一下子突然变得很庞大，像微软一样的风格了。也许以后他将会有个ginux来对抗他！虽然google没有广告，但却喜欢在背后做index手脚！信息时代的主动脉呀！很难讲google会不会受到反对。
既然大家喜欢google talk，为什么会是因为它的简洁？要说简洁，我觉得gaim也不错。功能自选，完全开放。支持很多协议。 advert-free真得那么重要吗？其实不然，msn的小广告并没有什么大碍呀！大家以前用的不是很顺手吗？ 应该说大家对google的宣传更感冒，被google毒害了！我现在准备用gaim了。看看我能坚持几天！也许我在选择gaim的时候也是一个比较！被gaim + gpl毒害了，呵呵
During the last few days, the uproar of the GoogleTalk by Google has caused a stir in the telephony industry. Though in the very most infant stage, the future proves bright. Google has promised to be Advert-free, unlike in MSN, Yahoo or ICQ, yet allowing to function like a chat interface. Included in the feature is the ability to communicate via voice, using Global IP technology.
Since GoogleTalk is still in beta stage, the software is very basic, only allowing voice and text chats. Secondly, it requires user to have Gmail account in order to use GoogleTalk.
Despite these limitation, one should not turn a blind eye to GoogleTalk, as you may have seen how Google took over the Search engine, and also with the introduction of Google Desktop (to compete with Microsoft's Longhorn sidebar), and a free 2GB email account, against popular Hotmail and Yahoo Mail.
Whether how far GoogleTalk can take off to, will depends on the next couple of months. It should not be too late before one can see GoogleTalk adds more functionality into it.
