and seeing

I downloaded
http://planet76.com/drivers/realtek/rts-bpp-dkms_1.1_all.deb
double-cliked it to install

then
sudo pluma /lib/udev/rules.d/80-udisks.rules

to add the line
DRIVERS=="rts_bpp", ENV{ID_DRIVE_FLASH_SD}="1"

and restart

the card-reader is active
