If you want to create a new layer or modify an existing layer ,you should create a new layer record or open an existing record.

 

3.In a database,you can use the function setClayer(layerTblRcdId) to set the layer Id means to to be the current layer.

 

4.has() can help you to find out whether the open database has a exsiting layer named the same as you named.If do or do not,you can do something you want to . 

 

5.getAt() can take you to the layerBlkRcd you wanted to .

 

6. acedSetColorDialog(nNewColor,...);

This function is very important.It aim the  colorIndex value from user and return to nNewColor instead the old value of it .
