Given a string, find the length of the longest substring without repeating characters.
Example 1:
Input: "abcabcbb"
Output: 3
Explanation: The answer is "abc", with the length of 3.
Example 2:
Input: "bbbbb"
Output: 1
Explanation: The answer is "b", with the length of 1.
Example 3:
Input: "pwwkew"
Output: 3
Explanation: The answer is "wke", with the length of 3.
Note that the answer must be a substring, “pwke” is a subsequence and not a substring.
java解法如下:
public class Solution {
public int lengthOfLongestSubstring(String s) {
int n = s.length(), ans = 0;
int[] index = new int[128]; // current index of character
// try to extend the range [i, j]
for (int j = 0, i = 0; j < n; j++) {
i = Math.max(index[s.charAt(j)], i);
ans = Math.max(ans, j - i + 1);
index[s.charAt(j)] = j + 1;
}
return ans;
}
}
c++解法:
class Solution {
public:
int lengthOfLongestSubstring(string s) {
vector<int> dict(256, -1);
int maxLen = 0, start = -1;
for (int i = 0; i != s.length(); i++) {
if (dict[s[i]] > start)
start = dict[s[i]];
dict[s[i]] = i;
maxLen = max(maxLen, i - start);
}
return maxLen;
}
};
python解法:
class Solution:
def lengthOfLongestSubstring(self, s: str) -> int:
start = maxLength = 0
usedChar = {}
for i in range(len(s)):
if s[i] in usedChar and start <= usedChar[s[i]]:
start = usedChar[s[i]] + 1
else:
maxLength = max(maxLength, i - start + 1)
usedChar[s[i]] = i
return maxLength
