CentOS下安装Thunderbird

从http://www.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/thunderbird/下载Thunderbird后，解压运行时出现："error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"的错误:

 

[root@MyCentOS2 test]# ls
thunderbird-en2.0.0.22.tar.zip
[root@MyCentOS2 test]# unzip thunderbird-en2.0.0.22.tar.zip
[root@MyCentOS2 test]# ls
Readme--?+?.htm  thunderbird-en2.0.0.22.tar.gz  thunderbird-en2.0.0.22.tar.zip
[root@MyCentOS2 test]# tar -xzvf thunderbird-en2.0.0.22.tar.gz
[root@MyCentOS2 test]# ls
Readme--?+?.htm  thunderbird-en2.0.0.22.tar.gz
thunderbird      thunderbird-en2.0.0.22.tar.zip
[root@MyCentOS2 test]# cd thunderbird
[root@MyCentOS2 thunderbird]# ls

./thunderbird-bin: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

 

具体解决过程如下:

[root@MyCentOS2 /]# cd media
[root@MyCentOS2 media]# ls
CentOS_5.3_Final
[root@MyCentOS2 media]# cd CentOS_5.3_Final/
[root@MyCentOS2 CentOS_5.3_Final]# cd CentOS/

[root@MyCentOS2CentOS]# ls *libstd*
compat-libstdc++-296-2.96-138.i386.rpm  libstdc++43-devel-4.3.2-7.el5.i386.rpm
compat-libstdc++-33-3.2.3-61.i386.rpm   libstdc++-devel-4.1.2-44.el5.i386.rpm
libstdc++-4.1.2-44.el5.i386.rpm
[root@MyCentOS2 CentOS]# rpm -ivh compat-libstdc++-33-3.2.3-61.i386.rpm
