常用的英语缩写(abbreviations [əbriːvɪ’eɪʃ(ə)n])

app (^p),application
UGG (读音为:ugly的前半部分)
PPT(可以说成slides or PowerPoint)
ASAP(as soon as possible)
BTW(by the way)
FYI(for your information)书面和口语都是F-Y-I,转发邮件的时候会用到,表示给对方看下
FAQ:frequently asked questions,常见问题
PS:postscript,P-S直接读字母就可以啦
Etc,等等,它法语词et cetra 的缩写，相当于英语的 and so on,要按完整形式整个念出来，音标是[it’setrE]（最后那个E应该是e倒转过来的形式）
e.g.:for example的拉丁语,正确读法:直接读 e-g.口语中直接说for example
i.e.:in essence([‘es(ə)ns],本质,实质):就是说…,意思就是…正确读法:直接说i-e.
V.S:versus([‘vɜːsəs])对抗,但是口语这么读:V-S
RSVP:其实是法语R e pondez s`il vous pla t,意思是please respond,正确的读法:r-s-v-p,正确的用法:please RSVP by Feb 5th,2月5号之前请确认.
