虽然 Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex 正式版还没有发布,但现在已经可以预定Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex 免费光盘了！Ubuntu 不愧是“Linux for Human Beings ”，除了操作系统本身越来越趋方便和人性化，另外自费为全世界 Ubuntu 用户提供光盘更是体现了这一信念. 申请 Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex 的地址还是跟以前一样:

访问 https://shipit.ubuntu.com/，然后注册一下就可以申请了。如果你以前就已经注册过了就无需注册便可直接索取了。你可选择索取桌面或者是服务器版的 Ubuntu 8.10 免费 CD 。



建议：方便自己刻录或会硬盘安装的朋友就没有必要去申请了。毕竟 Canonical 公司每发送一张光盘成本还是蛮高的！大概要几欧元吧？最后强烈鄙视那种申请一大堆 CD 并且用来当杯垫的人！！
