会议背景介绍：	Global optimization is a multi-disciplinary research field that deals with the characterization and computation of global minima and/or maxima of nonlinear, nonconvex, nonsmooth and discrete functions. Global optimization problems are frequently encountered in modeling real world systems for a very broad range of applications including aerospace and civil engineering, chemical and process engineering, computational biology and bioinformatics, computational materials science, clustering and pattern recognition, computer vision and robotics, cryptography and data mining, electrical and control engineering, information and technology management, industrial and systems engineering, communication and information network design, intelligent information and security, management science and operations research, mathematical economics and financial engineering, mechanical and structural engineering, neuroscience and cognition, refining and petrochemicals, reliability and quality engineering, signal and image processing, tomography and seismic optimization, production planning and scheduling, transportation and logistics, etc. With the rapid development and deployment of practical global optimization methodologies in the last thirty years, more and more scientists in diverse disciplines have been using global optimization techniques and algorithms to solve their respective problems. Global optimization is playing a pivoting role in the development of modern engineering and sciences. The field has become mature enough to call for the establishment of a world congress.

Artificial intelligence and education are becoming increasingly interesting to both the academic researchers and medical practitioners. It is essential to exploremedical artificial intelligence and education from the theoretical viewpoint.The 2009 International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Education(ICAIE 2009) provides two day’s focus on the science and technology that are the basis for the artificialintelligence and education. The theme of the plenary session is “e-Learning platforms and tools, artificial iIntelligence and open learning and new generations of educational technologies” featuring invited speakers who will further explore this topic that is so significant for artificialintelligence and education. Concurrent sessions and a poster session will cover a wide range of topics and issues, including both contributed papers and special sessions developed on specific themes, all with a central focus on artificialintelligence and education.

2008 International Colloquium on Artificial Intelligence in Education (ICAIE 2008) was held on 17-18 October,2008 in Wuhan.In the late of December,2008, all the papers pulished in the ICAIE 2008 proceedings was indexed by ISTP.In order to attract more authors and attenders,The name of ICAIE 2009 has been changed to 2009 International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Education.We also assure that the proceedings of ICAIE 2009 will be indexed by ISTP.

会议背景介绍：

     随着上届联合会议的成功召开（50多个国家和地区的320名代表，150位境外代表，参加了现场会议，700名通讯代表在论文集发表论文进行书面交流）, 2009建模、计算、仿真、优化及其应用学术会议(第二届国际建模、计算、仿真、优化及其应用学术会议)主会场将在英国曼彻斯特大学举行。中国因故不能参加现场会议的代表可以作为通讯代表，注册费酌情减少1/2至1/3，通讯代表联络地点为：210094 南京南京理工大学应用数学系俞军。会议列入IEEE计划，会议部分录用的论文由其出版论文集A辑并由其安排EI检索（按照惯例，基本可以被EI收录），其它录用的论文仍然由上届会议的世界学术出版社出版B辑并提交ISTP、EI检索（上届联合会议1030篇论文已经100%被ISTP收录。EI是否收录还没确定）。对录用的论文我们将在发放录用通知时通知论文将被安排在A辑或B辑发表。

     本次会议为应用数学、计算数学、工程数学、信息与计算科学领域的科教人员、工程技术以及工程、技术、工业、经济、卫生、管理、金融、农林、体育等领域提供一个于奥运会前在奥运会主办国进行学术交流与建立友谊的平台。会议特别鼓励来自工程、技术、工业、经济、卫生、管理、金融、农林等领域的科研工作者、工程师和研究生交流具有鲜明应用特色的论文和成果（包括优秀数学建模作品、仿真软件应用作品）。

     欢迎论文作者和非论文作者参加会议。

With the development of multimedia technology and network technology, multimedia services become more and more popular. In nowadays, multimedia information refers not only to text, image or video but also to flash, web, 3D data, etc. Multimedia information is networked in various modes, e.g., fixed network, wireless network, mobile network, etc. Multimedia information may be generated, processed, transmitted, retrievaled, consumed or shared in various environments. Large scale software systems and the Internet are of growing concern to academia and industry. This poses new challenges to the various aspects of software engineering, for instance, the reliability of software development, web-oriented software architecture and aspect and object-orientation techniques. As a result, new concepts and methodologies are required to enhance the development of software engineering from theoretical aspects. TASE 2009 is a forum for researchers from academia, industry and government to present ideas, results, and ongoing research on theoretical advances in software engineering. TASE 2009 is the third in a series of conference, sponsored by IEEE CS and IFIP. The first TASE conference was held in Shanghai, China, in June 2007. The second TASE conference was held in Nanjing, China, in June 2008.

会议背景介绍：	The 3rd IEEE Theoretical Aspects of Software Engineering Conference (TASE 2009), sponsored by IEEE CS and IFIP, will be held in Tianjin, China in July, 2009. Large scale software systems and the Internet are of growing concern to academia and industry. This poses new challenges to the various aspects of software engineering, for instance, the reliability of software development, web-oriented software architecture and aspect and object-orientation techniques. As a result, new concepts and methodologies are required to enhance the development of software engineering from theoretical aspects. TASE 2009 is a forum for researchers from academia, industry and government to present ideas, results, and ongoing research on theoretical advances in software engineering. TASE 2009 is the third in a series of conference, sponsored by IEEE CS and IFIP. The first TASE conference was held in Shanghai, China, in June 2007.     自2004年以来，历届的DCABES会议论文集中的优秀论文，都要选送给重要的国际学术期刊免费发表。DCABES 2009 会议论文集中的优秀论文将由国际学术刊物 International Journal for Computer Mathematics (IJCM, SCI 源刊) 和 Journal of Algorithms and Computational Technology(JACT) 分别选取结集免费出版（JACT已被剑桥科学文摘索引）。
    DCABES 学术委员会决定自DCABES 2008 开始，还从当届会议论文集中挑选一批高质量论文，结集出版DCABES Post Proceedings，并正与EI 联系DCABES Post Proceedings被EI 收录事宜。

目前，我国开办密码学与信息安全类专业的高校已经发展到50多所，培养的层次从本科到博士，在校的学生逾万人，而且还在继续增加。由于密码学与信息安全类专业是一个新专业，为了有效地探索密码学与信息安全类专业办学规律，提高密码学与信息安全专业办学水平，由中国密码学会教育工作委员会将组织“全国密码学与信息安全类专业教学研讨会”，就高校密码学与信息安全类专业教学问题进行研讨。会议将就密码学与信息安全类专业办学规律开展深入、广泛的研讨，并特邀著名专家、学者作专题报告。为保证本次会议的质量，吸引更多的信息安全专业建设者参与本会，现向全国密码学与信息安全类专业教师公开征稿。

SSIRI 2009 not only allows the academic community to gain

The objective of the Student Doctoral Program is to
encourage students to attend SSIRI and present their work,
exchange ideas with researchers and practitioners, and get
early feedback on their research efforts. Submit original
papers (not published or submitted elsewhere) with a
maximum of six pages using the IEEE conference proceedings
format. Each submission should include the title of the
paper, the name and affiliation of each author, a 150-word
abstract, and up to 8 keywords. The first author must be a
student (the advisor or non-student collaborators may be
co-authors). Once accepted the paper should be presented
by a student.

The 5th International Conference on Natural Computation (ICNC'09) and the 6th International Conference on Fuzzy Systems and Knowledge Discovery (FSKD'09) will be jointly held in Tianjin, China. Tianjin is one of the four municipalities in China. It is a financial and commercial center in North China, which is known for its numerous travel resources and rich history, such as Gu Wenhua Jie, Dagu Emplacement, Huangyaguan Great Wall, Dule Temple, Haihe River, Panshan Mountain and Food Street. Tianjin Binhai New Area lies in the center of the Circum-Bohai Region and the eastern seaboard of Tianjin. It is located in the juncture of the Beijing-Tianjin City Belt and the Circum-Bohai City Belt. It is the gateway to North China, Northeast China, and Northwest China. Lying in the center of Northeast Asia, it is the nearest point of departure of the Eurasian Continental Bridge.
ICNC'09-FSKD'09 aims to provide a high-level international forum for scientists and researchers to present the state of the art of intelligent methods inspired from nature, particularly biological and physical systems, with applications to data mining, manufacturing, design, and more. This is an exciting and emerging interdisciplinary area in which a wide range of theory and methodologies are being investigated and developed to tackle complex and challenging problems. Previously, the joint conferences in 2005 through 2008 each attracted over 3000 submissions from more than 30 countries.
All accepted papers will appear in conference proceedings published by the IEEE Computer Society and will be indexed by both EI and ISTP. Extended versions of selected papers will appear in SCI-indexed journal(s).

2008年是中国不平凡的一年，成功举办奥运、全民抗震救灾、世人瞩目的神七以及后奥运时代的来临都为图像图形科学与技术提供了空前的展现舞台，随之而来的在这一科学领域里的发展和应用都成为专业人士关心和研讨的话题。
《第四届图像图形技术与应用学术会议（IGTA2009）》是图像图形界专家与学者对2008年科学与技术的回顾，对应用新发展的探讨，因此由北京图像图形学会主办，中国传媒大学承办，中国图像图形学学会，中国图象图形学报各省市图像图形学会、多所在京著名大学协办的第四届图像图形技术与应用学术会议定于2009年4月2日在北京举行。
 研讨会议内容：
（1）特邀报告：邀请前奥运组委保障团队、国家减灾部门和航天领域的著名的专家学者，就图像图形科学与技术的在这几方面的应用及发展作专题报告，了解后奥运时代最新发展动态，开创新工作思路。
（2）学术讨论：分组座谈，围绕宽带、互动、移动、个性化等热点，针对图像图形技术在广播电视、网络多媒体、新媒体等热点经济领域的应用展开讨论和技术交流；围绕“金桥工程项目”与国内外著名专家、企业家面对面交流，深入研讨图像图形前沿技术及其应用，为产、学、研、管四方搭建交流和沟通的平台，促进人才交流；
（3）参观体验：参观奥运场馆、相关实验室，实地参观交流，体验图像奥运，亲身感受科技奥运中的图像图形技术应用。

            ISNN2009 CALL FOR PAPERS

The Sixth International Symposium on Neural Networks (ISNN 2009) will be held in Wuhan, following the successes of previous events. Composed of three parts (Wuchang, Hankou, and Hanyang), Wuhan is the capital of Hubei Province in central China with a long history and rich heritages. During the warrior-states period (481-221 BC), Wuhan is a part in Chu Kingdom It began to prosper as a commercial town about two-thousand years ago, when it was called Yingwuzhou (Parrot beach). During the Song Dynasty (960-1279 AD), the region became one of the most prosperous commercial centers along the Yangtze River. By the end of the Ming Dynasty (1368-164 AD), Hankou was one of the four most famous cities in China. Today, Wuhan is an educational and industrial center and a hub of water and rail transportation in China.

ISNN 2009 aims to provide a high-level international forum for scientists, engineers, and educators to present the state of the art of neural network research and applications in related fields. The symposium will feature plenary speeches given by world renowned scholars, regular sessions with broad coverage, and special sessions focusing on popular topics.

Prospective authors are invited to contribute high-quality papers to ISNN 2009. In addition, proposals for special sessions within the technical scopes of the symposium are solicited. Special sessions, to be organized by internationally recognized experts, aim to bring together researchers in special focused topics.
Papers submitted for special sessions are to be peer-reviewed with the same criteria used for the contributed papers. Researchers interested in organizing special sessions are invited to submit formal proposals to ISNN 2009. A special session proposal should include the session title, a brief description of the scope and motivation, names, contact information and brief biographical information on the organizers.

Authors are invited to submit full-length papers (10 pages maximum) by the submission deadline through the online submission system. Potential organizers are also invited to enlist five or more papers with cohesive topics to form special sessions. The submission of a paper implies that the paper is original and has not been submitted under review or is not copyright-protected elsewhere and will be presented by an author if accepted. All submitted papers will be refereed by experts in the field based on the criteria of originality, significance, quality, and clarity. The authors of accepted papers will have an opportunity to revise their papers and take consideration of the referees' comments and suggestions. Papers presented at ISNN 2009 will be published in the EI-indexed proceedings (Springer LNCS) and some selected good papers will be included in special issues of several SCI-indexed journals.

征文范围及要求：

   ICIE 2009 将于2009年7月10日至11日在山西太原举行。ICIE 2009将为信息工程及其相关领域的研究人员和实际应用开发人员提供一个领先的国际论坛平台，让大家分享最新的研究成果和实际应用中积累的经验。
这次大会的主题是信息工程及应用。这次大会的特色是受邀发言的专家会对此领域具有重要意义的论题进一步探究，与会议同时出版的期刊杂志和海报将会涵盖很广范围的论题和论点，包括由具体的主题延伸出的已经发表的论文和特殊会议记录。
ICIE 2009 论文集将由IEEE Computer Society出版，所有录用的论文将由IEEE被收录在IEEE，也将被EI Compendex, ISTP和IEEE Explore检索。我们诚邀您提交所有有关ICIE领域的论文。潜在的论题包括但并不局限于以下的分类：

第七届全国搜索引擎和网上信息挖掘学术研讨会（SEWM2009）由中国计算机学会主办，大连理工大学承办。该系列会议每年举行一次，现已成为国内海量网络信息处理与应用领域最主要的学术活动之一。此次会议将为网络信息搜索与挖掘领域的学者交流最新研究成果、进行广泛的学术讨论提供便利，并且将邀请国内该领域的著名学者做精彩报告，同时将保持SEWM会议的传统，组织搜索和挖掘相关技术的评测。

征文范围及要求：

征稿范围（征求但不限于如下主题）
信息检索模型、算法及基础理论；
面向行业的信息检索
跨语言和多语言信息检索、面向信息检索的机器翻译技术；
交互式检索、用户界面和可视化、用户模型及分析、基于任务的信息检索；
智能问题回答系统

投稿要求
论文必须未公开发表过，一般不超过6000字；中、英文稿均可接受；
论文应包括题目、作者姓名、作者单位、摘要、关键字、正文和参考文献；另附作者地址、邮编、电话或传真及E-mail地址；
参选优秀学生论文的稿件请注明（须由在校博士生、硕士生或本科生）为第一作者；
会议采用电子投稿，请将Word或PDF格式的文件发到：sewm2009@dlut.edu.cn (超过2M的文件请先压缩；请注意接收会议组织机构发出的收稿确认电子邮件)
