After the meeting with Pascale this afternoon, she is satisfied with the prosody conversion results from the neutral language to emotional speech. Here are the things we are going to do:

1. Change the state “fear” to “terror”, means the emotion that you want to scare someone.

2. Try to use the source code or the Praat scripts to do the conversion automaticlly.

3. Use the feature paratmeter setup, to synthesize one neutral speech into four different emotions, to see if they can be distinguished.

 

4. Try use this method on other languages, eg, English, French.

 

Acctually, I have not contact the Professor in Microsoft yet, for the summer internship. I do not have much confidence in myself, but I still want to seize the chance. So I need to finish the small project ASAP. (Before Wednesday)
