Michael is going to Taiwan on business. He is sitting next to Anna, who is coming home from vacation.

Anna：Hello, my name's Anna. Are you American?

Anna：哈啰，我的名字是 Anna。你是美国人吗？

 

Michael：Yes. I'm Michael. I'm going to Taiwan for business. What about you? You're going home?

Michael：没错。我叫 Michael。我要到台湾出差。那你呢？你是要回家吧？

 

Anna：Yes, I had a fabulous vacation in California. The waves at Huntington Beach are wonderful!

Anna：是啊，我在加州过了一个超棒的假期。亨丁顿海滩的浪太美了！

 

Michael：So you're a surfer! I can tell from your tan that you must've had a great time there.

Michael：所以你是冲浪爱好者喔！从你棕褐色的皮肤看来，我相信你一定玩得很开心。

 

Anna：Are you interested in surfing, too? What's your favorite outdoor activity?

Anna：你对冲浪也有兴趣吗？你最喜欢的户外活动是什么？

 

Michael：I love all kinds of outdoor activities. Surfing, rafting, and hiking. I deal in sports equipment.

Michael：每一种户外活动我都喜欢，包括冲浪、泛舟和健行。我从事运动用品业。

 

Anna：Are you a sales rep or ...?

Anna：那你是业务员还是 ...？

 

Michael：I'm a purchasing manager, and actually, I'm from California, too. What other outdoor activities do you usually do?

Michael：我是采购经理，而且事实上，我也是加州人。你平常还从事什么户外运动？

 

Anna：I also go diving, and the marine life is spectacular. I just love the beach life.

Anna：我也会潜水，海洋生态真是壮观。我实在太爱海边的生活了。？

 

Michael：I enjoy diving, too, and I happen to know that Taiwan has several good places for diving.

Michael：我也喜欢潜水，而且我刚好知道台湾有些潜水胜地。

 

Anna：That's true. Maybe I can take you to those places if you've got some time.

Anna：没错。要是你有时间，也许我可以带你到那些地方去。

 

Michael：It'll be a pleasure. Thank you very much.

Michael：那真是太好了，真谢谢你。
