It can be difficult to keep track of the expected icon sizes for each platform you support.

For this reason, this is a list of dimensions for all of the platforms we support in NME. This is not a comprehensive list for every platform that has been invented, but should cover most of the major platforms.

Windows

• 16 x 16
• 32 x 32
• 48 x 48
• 64 x 64
• 128 x 128
• 256 x 256

Mac

• 16 x 16
• 32 x 32
• 48 x 48
• 128 x 128
• 256 x 256
• 512 x 512
• 1024 x 1024

Linux

I am having difficulty determining expected icon sizes for Linux. This will depend on the user’s configuration and window manager. It probably mirrors the icon expectations of Windows or Mac

iOS

• 57 x 57 -- iPhone
• 72 x 72 -- iPad
• 114 x 114 -- iPhone Retina
• 144 x 144 -- iPad Retina
• 512 x 512
• 1024 x 1024

Android

• 36 x 36 -- ldpi
• 48 x 48 -- mdpi
• 72 x 72 -- hdpi
• 96 x 96
• 114 x 114
• 512 x 512

BlackBerry

• 86 x 86
