Family Album USA -- Episod 03, Act I

 

Ellen and Marilyn are preparing breakfast. Marilyn is getting ready for bread and rices. Ellen is cooking coffee and tea. She asks what does Marilyn want, coffee or tea. Marilyn says she would like some tea rather than coffee. Grandpa will arrive at six o'clock this evening. He will come by train. Grandpa is an independent old man. He doesn't like anyone to pick him up at the station. After having breakfast, Ellen and Marilyn go upstairs to prepare grandpa's room.

Richard and Robby meet Ellan and Marilyn at the hall. They say hello to each other, and Marilyn tells them coffee is ready. Richard and Robby also talk about grandpa when they having breakfast. Richard advise gathering some pictures as "welcome" presents for grandpa. Robby thinks it's great and provides an old picture of Grandpa and Dad and him. He is always having the old picture in his wallet. They took this picture at Robby's junior high school graduation.

Ellen and Marilyn are setting up grandpa's room. They find a big locked trunk after getting everything ready. Then, Phillip comes in with some hangers. He wants to put them in grandpa's closet.  Ellen tells that Susan called this morning, to say that she can't come back to welcome grandpa, for she will have a buziness trip this evening. Phillip tells grandpa like Susan very much for she can remind him of grandma. Susan looks like grandma very much. Marilyn says there is a locked trunk for grandpa. Phillip says grandpa has sent him the key.
