压岁钱：

压岁钱（gift money）是指中国春节时长辈送给未成年晚辈的红包，里面装有钞票。压岁钱可在晚辈拜年后赏给，也可以在除夕夜孩子睡着时，由家长悄悄地放在孩子的枕头底下。民间认为当鬼怪准备伤害孩子时，孩子可以用压岁钱贿赂他们而化凶为吉。所以，给“压岁钱"，无论数量多少，都体现出长辈对晚辈的关爱与呵护，都意味着长辈对孩子深深的祝福和期盼。如今，这一习俗仍然盛行。压岁钱多被孩子们用来购买学习和生活用品

             Gift money is the red packet stuffed with cash which theelder give the underage kids on the Spring Festival in China. The kids willreceive the gift money after they pay a new year call to the elders, or theparents will put the gift money under the kids' pillow quietly after the kidsfall into asleep on the evening  of theSpring Festival. It's  believed that whenthe ghosts are about to harm the kids , the kids can bible  them with the gift money to change the portentousinto the propitious. Therefore , giving"gift money", no matter what amount is, reflect the elders' and theparents' love and care for the kids and stand for their blessing andexpectation. This custom is still verypopular nowadays. In most case, gift money usually be used to buy articles forstudy and daily use by kids.

疑问：

1.在翻译过程中，当某句的宾语是后一句的主语时，应该怎样处理。如果都加上，感觉有点重复啰嗦的：例如民间认为当鬼怪准备伤害孩子时，孩子可以，，

译：It's believed thatwhen the ghosts are about to harm the kids,the kidscan …..

2.所以，给“压岁钱"，无论数量多少，都体现出长辈对晚辈的关爱与呵护，都意味着长辈对孩子深深的祝福和期盼。

有道翻译：Therefore,given the "lucky money", no matter how many, it reflects the care andcare of the elders for the younger generation, which means that the elders havea deep blessing and hope for their children.

本文中翻译这句话有很多and连用显得翻译太过臃肿，死板。而有道翻译使用从句连接，很晕不知道是机器翻译好还是。。。
