Question

Guess Number Higher or Lower

We are playing the Guess Game. The game is as follows:

I pick a number from 1 to n. You have to guess which number I picked.

Every time you guess wrong, I’ll tell you whether the number is higher or lower.

You call a pre-defined API guess(int num) which returns 3 possible results (-1, 1, or 0):

-1 : My number is lower
 1 : My number is higher
 0 : Congrats! You got it!

Example:

n = 10, I pick 6.

Return 6.

Answer

主要是使用二分法来加快查找进程
二分法在整数应用中要注意
在up-down<=2的情况下就可以直接确定结果
不可以继续再进行二分处理否则会陷入死循环
如
up=3
down=1
如果进行二分处理
如果正确的结果在2 上那么
新的 down=1 相当于新的up down与之前的up down完全处在一个状态下所以如此往复就进入了死循环
所以 up-down <=2作为最后一次循环

guess函数的实现注意不要把题目的意思搞反了
