In modern society, there is an increasingly discussion about the art of dealing with people. Such ability is of great significance for not only the business people but the students. It is always the relationship with our fellow creatures that determined how far we could reach. When it comes to the topic that what should we do when a leader of a meeting have just expressed something wrong, some people may argue that we should interruput and point out the error, and other individuals believe we should not bother about this matter and say nothing. However, these opinions both suffer logical and practical fallacies. In my perspective, I am favor of this opinion that we should wait untiil the meeting is over under the following considerations.

For one thing, the goal of a meeting is to discuss and to derive a conclusion for an affair or a problem, therefore, if it is not something really matters, we have no reason to interrupt the meeting procedding. Admittedly, as we discussed above, pointing out the problem is essential, but we could until the meeting over. After the meeting, we could privately talk with the leader or the teacher about this detail. In this regard, the process of coping with a problem would not be delayed, and we also express our opinion.

For another thing, a meeting or a classroom is a place for us to express ourselves and to gain viewpoints from others. Therefore, it is our responsibility to point out the matter. Only in this way, our class or our team could get advanced. Taking mymelf as an example, I was in a team which is responsible for a new project. In a meeting to actually implement our project, I thought the leader do not deserve his position, and I kept silence when I found there are some problems in the implementation. As a result, these problems were turned out to be critical, and our mission failed. After that I always feel regretful about my co-workers, and never hind my opinion in my following work.

Additionally, as we discussed above, the thing really matters is the relationship between our co-workers, especially our superiors. When we point out their fallacies on their face, they might feel embarassed and lower his opinion about us. Therefore we should privatly discuss about the error that he made. This will contribute to a better relashionship in a team, and also raise the chance to get promoted.

In a nutshell, we should concentrate on the process of our project and the feeling of our co-workers or teachers, therefore talking with them after the meeting or a class seems a sound choice. Anyway, there are one hundred Hamlet in one hundred people’s eyes, I hope the individuals who hold the opposite opinions could conpromise after exposed to this article.
