In contemporary society, the social advancemnet contributses to the development of living standards. In this regard, people try to release their pressure by traveling aboard in different countries. When comes to the journey in a foreign land, some people may feel upset, and taking part in a tour group seems to be a sound choice. This opinion might lead some impressional individuals to draw a conclusion that the best way to enjoy your journey is in a group, withe a guide who takes care of your arrangement. Nevertheless, this idea suffers both logical and practical fallacies. In my perspective, designing our own tour managements is more acceptable and more exciting.

Admittedly, joining in a group seems much convinient for us which promises that we do not need to concern about the arrangements, and can save our energy to just enjoy the traveling. However, in this way, some of the most interesting parts of our journey are missed. Taking myself as an example, I am fanatic to travel by myself, and my feetpoints have printed on every city of China. When I decide to visit a new place, I make a explicit time list, which contains the places I have dreamed of. And then I make some investigation for the historical or cultural background of my destination. The road to a specific locate is more joyful for me than to an unknown place. More importantly, compared with the group, I can select the places I am intersted of rather than being taken back and forth to some boring locates or activities.

For another thing, it is more free to travel by ourselves. Everytime when I pay a travel to a new place, I always raise some time for no arrangements, by which I can just find some unique view for myself. After a journey to a city, I never leave there immediately but staying there for two or three days, to feel the lifestyle there, and to visit some local locates such as cookshops or a river without the recommodation of anybody. That makes me feel free, and get to know a part of the city. More importantly, it promises a unique journey from anybody, I have my own memory of this place.

Additionally, one of my objective of solo journey is to make more friends. We can meet some interesting friendship or even love in the journey. Their stories and the time we spent together is of precious. However, when we are in a group, it is more likely for us to communicate with the people who come from the same pace. For me, that is not romatic at all.

In a nutshell, we can get a better experince if we paty a trip by ourselves rather than in a group. Anyway, there are one thousand Hamlets in one thousand people’s eyes. I hope these people holidng opposite ideas could somehow compromise after exposed to this article.
