df -a
reports all the file system
df -b
print the total number of kilobytes free (only this column information)
df -h
display the information in a more human readable format.
df -k
have a column information about the free blocks in 1024 bytes.

using
du -option [file .. or directory]
summarize disk usage.
if the du command used without any option ,it will display the space that
directory occupied (not including the file)
du -a
display the current directory occupied space(Including subdir and files)
du -s
just display the total space occupied for the current direcory.
du -h
display in a more human readable format
