One world One dream,it is the slogan for BEIJING Olympic Games.In the coming years,even for decades to come,the four simple worlds will be closely linked to the Summer Olympic Games and Paralympic Games that BEIJING will be hosting in 2008.
The slogan was announced at a grand ceremony held in the Chinese capital and broadcast live on CCTV and BEIJING TV at once.Both of them are the country’s heavy weight broadcasters.China mobile,one of the official partners for BEIJING 2008 sent the slogan,in the form of a short message,only minutes after the slogan was announced.Immediately,the slogan became popular among people all over the world,they sing and dance to celebrate the exciting news.
As we all know,One world,one dream is an embodiment of the wisdom of hundreds of thousands of people.When BOCOG issued a call for the slogan on January 1,2005,the response was unexpectedly good.One world,one dream.the finalized slogan,which is selected from 10038 letters and 10123 emails is really excellent.A big round of applauses continued again and again the moment it is announced.All the people could not help laughing,jumping and dancing.Obviously,they are very content with it.
With a long history of 5000 years and on its way towards modernization,our country is developing fast.And the slogan expresses our firm belief to become prosper..Besides,it tells people that our country is trying our best to cooperate with other countries to build a bright future together. In addition,it brings us a peacefull development,harmonious society and people happiness.
Green Olympics,Hi ￣tech Olympics and people’s Olympics is coming,all of us are busy preparing for it.We are trying our best to make our city more beautifull and more attractive to welcome the 2008 Olympic Games.Join us and make contributions to our country.One world one dream,we are a family!
