1.Google Apps Engine:one of the most popular and also the fastest growth cloud computing services.

2.IaaS is a type of services that delivers computer infrastructure on demand in which users can ask for a single computer,a group of computer,or even a small piece of a shared computer easily.Key examples of IaaS areAmazon Elastic Computer Cloud,Rackspace,and GoGrid. 

3.PaaS provides services at a higher level compared to IaaS,where a complete platform for end-to-end life cycle application development is supplied.Typical providers of PaaS are Google Apps Engine and Microsoft Windows Azure.Finally,SaaS provides services at the highest level of computation.It is designed as a multi-tenant platform to provide software on demand.

4.SaaS has become a new trend for software distribution for its flexibility.Typical examples of SaaS are Salesforceand Netsuite.

5.In general,the practicability of application migration cloud be determined by the cost of application migration and the cost of cloud usage.On the one hand,if the cost of application migration is more expensive than the cost of developing a new application that has the same functionality with the legacy application,application migration is not a good choice.On the other hand,if the usage cost of cloud computing is more expensive than the cost of hiring private servers,it is important to estimate these two costs. 

6.Google Apps Engine(GAE):simply supports two programming languages:Python andJava.

7.Currently,we provide three cloud profiles for thepublic cloud environments Google App Engine for Java andMicrosoft Windows Azure's Virtual Machine Role,as well as for theprivate Eucalyptus cloud of our workgroup.

8.NIST's definition of Cloud Computing:a model for enabling convenient, on-demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources (e.g., networks, servers, storage, applications, and services)that can be rapidly provisioned and released with minimal management effort or service  provider interaction.
