武大资源环境学院  地理信息系统教育部重点实验室 （广告）的艾廷华老师的版本，该君有一个很重的言论“搞GIS的，做学问，不要看中文文献，要看外文 的，如果实在要看，本科生可以看一点《测绘学报》《武大学报信息版》《遥感学报》，研究生一定要看外文的”。之后也用google查过一些GIScience journal ranking之类的东西，出来的也不全，大部分都来至ISI公司的JCR，直到最近才在TGIS上看到一篇GIScience Journals Ranking and Evaluation的专业文献，于是，将其结果贴出来跟大家分享。

        文章指出了片面用JCR报告的缺陷，大概就是GIScience整个学科还很弱，很多期刊刚开办不久，ISI也是商业性质引用的不一定是最好的文献等等。 这篇文章采用的方法有三种：专家打分、JCR报告、问卷调查。然后将调查的结果综合，得出了GIScience期刊的综合排名如下：
