Qualcomm tools I often use

QXDM: message view(F3), Item view(F11), filter view(F12), memory view(F4),

NV browser, command output, static status(F9), dynamic status, PPP extractor and keypad.

QCAT: to interpret QMI log.

Software download: CEFS backup and restore, flash download.

EFS explore: view AMSS EFS.

Service programming: read/write value about network, such as PPP parameters.

QRCT: for factory test.

Memory debug app: used for CoreDump/MemoryDump.

QPST configuration: add/remove diag ports.

QXDM and NV:

Some NV items are unreadable by QXDM, such as A KEY and A KEY checksum, SSD-A, SSD-B, PPP password, GPS password.

Some NV items are unwritable by QXDM, such as NV_DIAG_SPC_UNLOCK_TTL_I, NV_DIAG_SPC_TIMEOUT_I.

Some NV items access need correct SPC, such as NV_DIR_NUMBER_PCS_I, NV_IMSI_MCC_I.

Some NV items stored in EFS, some NV items stored in UICC card.
