2. VMtools

有个很常遇到的问题，安装会卡在

What is the location of the directory of C header files that match your running
2.kernel? [/usr/src/linux/include]

关键内容是：

之前的路径问题：2.6.38-8-generic/ 根据自己的uname -r 结果

/usr/src/linux-headers-2.6.38-8-generic/include/linux/version.h
add :
#define UTS_RELEASE "2.6.38-8-generic"

提示找不到autoconf.h

root@Glory:/usr/src/linux/include/linux# ln -s ../generated/autoconf.h ./autoconf.h

then sth also could not be done successfully, but the vmtool is installed OK as a whole

后面也出现一些啥的编译不了，不管，该yes的yes该no的no,
算是可以了。

 

 3. source list

add source list into the file: /etc/apt/sources.list // the source list can be found on the net according to your Ubuntu version.

then:

apt-get update

4. 常用软件安装

apt-get install vim
