Hopefully you know that:
- PeopleSoft is now owned by Oracle
- Oracle are developing the next generation of enterprise applications collectively known as Fusion applications.
Oracle have already started incorporating some of the fusion technology (e.g oracle application server, XML-BI publisher) into the latest PeopleTools releases (as of 8.48). They have also started moving towards service oriented architecture (buzzword SOA), for example with application packages in many of the PeopleSoft applications.
This wiki article provides links and resources to get you skilled up for fusion, because sooner or later, it will be here, and it will be different!
