1995~2005 GM Stud 26036788 Production

GM OEM Steering Column-Cover Stud part number 26036788 is used for repair GM cars 1995~2005.
We are lucky had customer assign this project for us, it is nearly discontinued gm part in the market, for some reason, many real store or online shop don’t have this part in stock for sale.
This part is made from blot stud in molding to plastic bar. It will need 2 molds for manufacturing, one is is for bolt stud, the other one is for in-mold process putting bolt stud into the plastic bar.
Bolt stud manufacture will be an issue due to low volume of this part, usually bolt business will require ten thousands at least and the size for 26036788 is not common in China market, we have to custom manufacture the mold and part. Finally we made 10,000 pcs which is lowest quantity bolt supplier can agree.
PO says 2000 pcs, we have a lot in stock, also the normal injection mold request a lot more quantity than that. We decided to make prototype mold instead of formal injection mold. Formal injection mold request automatic for all perfermance, prototype can make many action by hand, with this way we can control mold cost.
