An error,A think of the conception of testing

  Maybe this is a strange title.As a tester,we should understanding the conception of testing clearly.But,actually,many pepople aren't clear about that,including me.As you know,we can find the conception in anyplace,said,the responsibility of tester is finding what system do and what it doesn't do.For first point,maybe everyone knows it.Check if system is satisfy the requirement of customer,if they are implemented and have no error.So,what about the second point?As this question,I think,check if system have some resolvent for exceptional action is one aspect.I haven't idea about other view.Hence,I just talk about it.Certainly,if you have any idea.I'm very glad to communicate with you.Thanks!

  For instance,there are some checkboxes and two buttons.One is ok,the other is cancel.Base on principle,we should select one or more checkbox,and press ok/cancel button to enter another page.Then,what about didn't select any chosen and click ok button directly.Will an error occur?Although,this instance doesn't always occur,I mean,as the end user,they may choose certain items and press the button definitely.In case of error,posterior operation cannot be displayed.For the sake of avoiding it,should we add a way to check if item is chosen and value is transfered to next page?I think this is a good example to illustrate the second point.Suppose,customer display the wrong button,then error occur.What about the result?I think that is terrible.System haven't mechanism to avoid error occur.This is what system should do,but isn't.
