Can not run Dotfuscator 4.4-----Reference not set to an object.

I have installed only Visual Studio 2010, and Dotfuscator 4.4. Then I register the software Dotfuscator 4.4.

 

But when I run Dotfuscator 4.4, an error message always appear "Reference not set to an object.", and the build is terminated.

 

I uninstall/install my Dotfuscator 4.4 several times, but there is no use. And the register information is stored in the register editor. So I uninstalled Dotfuscator, and deleted all the information on "Dotfuscator" in register editor. Now the software is uninstalled completely. After I have installed the software again, the build error still exists.  Huhuhuhuhu........ Huhuhuhuhu........Huhuhuhuhu........Huhuhuhuhu........Huhuhuhuhu........Huhuhuhuhu........

 

Then I ask Somebody else to install Dotfuscator 4.4, and there is no error in building the xml script. So I think that there must be something difference between my machine and his. I found that he has intalled Visual Studio 2010, Visual Studio 2008 and Visual Studio 2003. And the Dotfuscator 4.4 will use "C:/Program Files/Microsoft SDKs/Windows/v6.0A/bin/ildasm.exe" when building xml script. But the file is not in my machine. As a result, I thought that I must install "Windows SDK 6.0A" which will also be installed after installation of Visual Studio 2008.

 

Here is my solution:

1. Install Visual Studio 2008 (Of course, you can install Windows SDK 6.0A directly)

2. Then "C:/Program Files/Microsoft SDKs/Windows/v6.0A" is installed on my machine.

3. Run Dotfuscator 4.4, it succeeds ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ ^_^
