English介词

介词是为了介绍实词的虚词。

不能单独作为句子成分存在。

介词短语：

befor 8 o'clock（在8点前）        after 8 o'clock（在8点后）        at 8 o'clock（在8点时）

in the room（在屋子上）        on the roof（在屋顶上）        under the table（在桌子下）

for health (reasons)（为了健康）        except (for) carrot（除了胡萝卜） 

固定搭配：

need for （需要...）        long for（渴望...）        ready for（为...准备）

 

短语动词：视作介词；不单独表完整义

by way of（通过......方式）        at the end of（在...的最后）        along with（和...一起）

because of（因为...）        previous to（...之前）

合成介词

into（到...之内）        onto（到...之上）        within（在...之内）        notwithstanding（尽管...）

动词分词介词

including（包括...）        regarding（关于...;至于...）

considering（鉴于...;考虑到...）        given（考虑到...;如果...）

介词多义

本义：根源意义；表达明确的空间含义

引申义：衍生含义；表达非空间含义

about

关于（外围；有涉及，非核心）；        I know something about the rabbit.

 大约（从外大范围大致数数）；        There are about 20 carrots.（大约有20根胡萝卜）

针对（从外向内地解决）；      Let's do something about the problem.（让我们做些事解决问题）

某人某事有某种特性；        There's something dangerous about the wolf.（狼感觉有点危险）

到处（从外面来来回回）；        Stop running about！（别来来回回跑）

on（在...之上），在一个物体地表面上，物体与物体接触

比in范围小点

在时间中可表示：某天 （on that day）(on Monday)

We talked on the phone。我们通过电话进行了交谈。（在电话上交谈）

关于：Would you like some advice on learning English? 你想要写关于学习英语的建议吗。

（在学习英语这件事 上 寻求建议）

受到之下...的支持：on a diet 在节食

Dinner is on me。（晚餐我付钱）；之所以用on，可以理解为 付钱地任务在我身上。

over（覆盖；在...上方；越过上空），有可能接触，也可能不接触

接触表覆盖：The mother put a blanket over the child.（妈妈把毯子盖在孩子身上。）

还能特指正上方：The bridge over the river.（在河上的桥）

有动作的从上面过（可描述动态）：The plane flew over the mountain.（飞机越过高山）

                                The rabbit climbed over the fence。（兔子爬过栅栏）

above（在..上方，高于平面）

和over的 静态含义 很像

一般只要 ‘高出’ 就可用above

under（在...下方）与over相对。

在（框架，前提）下：under discussion 在讨论中

物体之间可以接触，也可以留有一定空间，指在某物的正下方，含垂直在下方的意思。

There is a ball under the desk。（书桌下有个球）

below（在...下方）与above相对

表示低于某个平面，可以是正下方，也可以不是。

The rabbit dived below the surface of the water.（兔子潜入了水下）

naer（在...附近；在...周边）往往有些距离

near the hospital。（在医院附近）

by（在...旁边；不超过..边界；不迟于...前）有限制

空间上通常可以和beside互换

by 2 o'clock。在2点之前

通过...；We learn English by watching videos。我们通过视频学英语

相关；某种属性；后接度量标准：They get paid by the hour。他们按小时拿报酬

beside（在...旁边）（非空间）比较

My carrot looks bigger beside yours。（我的胡萝卜和你的一起看着更大）

next to（靠近；紧挨着）

There is a hotel by/beside/next to the river.（这个旅馆在河旁边）

across（从表面穿过）

go across the street。（穿过马路）

through（从内部穿过；通过...方式）

We succeed through hard word。我们通过努力工作成功了

go throught the tunnel。（穿过隧道）

past（经过，通过）

The rabbit walked past the wolf whitout saying any words。（兔子从狼身边经过，没说一句话）

in front of（在...前面）

The rabbit is standing in front of the wolf。（兔子站在狼前面）

before（在...之前）

表时间（以及次序）的“在...之前”，很少用于空间在 ... 之前

before Monday 星期一之间

 She played the violin before the crowd。（她在众人前拉小提琴）

behind（在...之后）与in front of相对

The wolf is standing behaind the rabbit。（狼站在兔子后面）

after（在...之后）与before相对

after to years。两年之后

过去时间要用after，不能使用in

I'll eat a carrot after 2 hours. 我两小时后会吃胡萝卜

I'll eat a carrot in 2 hours。 我在两小时内会吃胡萝卜

between（在...之间）一般指两者之间

通常与and连用组成：between ... and ...（在...与...之间）

The carrot is between the rabbit and the wolf。（胡萝卜在兔子和狼之间）

among（在...之间）一般指在三者及更多人和物之间

The rabbit is standing among the carrots。（兔子站在胡萝卜之间.）

round（围绕；环绕）

around：两者作介词意思相近，可互换

trees round/around the field。（环绕田地四周的数）

along（沿着；顺着）

walk along the road。（沿着这条路一直走）

to（向；朝着）

go to school。（去上学）

toword（朝着...的方向）

towords：两者与to在此意上相近

walk toword home.（朝家走）

onto（到...上面）

The rabbit jumped onto the table。（兔子跳到桌子上）

into（到...里面,内部）

walk into the house。（走进房子）

out of（从里面出来）

get out of the car。（从车里出来）

opposite（在...对面）

Our school is opposite my house。（我们学校在我家对面）

against（与...相反；倚，靠）

We were rowing against the current。（我们逆水行舟）

The rabbit was leaning against the tree。（兔子正倚着一棵树）

up（沿...向上）

up the hill。上山        up the river。沿河流逆流而上

down（沿...向下）

walk down the road。沿着这条路走下去        roll down the hill。从山上下去

off（离...有一定距离）

New Zealand lies off the eastern coast of Australia。新西兰离澳大利亚东海岸有一些距离。

beyond（在...之外）

It's beyond me.（我无法理解）；之所以用beyond，可以理解为 某件事在我“能理解范围”之外。

in（在...之里）在物体地里面

大范围情况下

在时间中可表示：年、月份、星期

...方式；in + 语言 let's talk in english。让我们用英语对话

在...状态中：in progress 在进行状态中

in the sun。(在阳光下) 

dressed in white。（穿着白衣服）        在白衣服里。

in English.（用英语）        在英语环境里使用

at（在某处）通常只在很明确地一点上。

在时间中可表示：在几点、在那一时刻（at 8 o'clock）（at the moment）

可表示数值：at a high price。在一个高的价格（点）

在某个状态点：at work 在工作         at dinner 在吃晚饭

during（持续；在...期间）

during the past 2 days.（在过去的两天里）

for（之前；由于）

作非时间介词时，一般与原因有关，作时间介词时，可以引申为 “因为...持续”

I've been learning English for 2 years。（我持续学习两年时间）

These rabbit is famous for being able to speak。这只兔子因为会说话出名

以...的价钱：I bought these books for 100 Yuan。我花了一百元买这些书

since（自从）

since last week。自从上周以来

from...to...（从...到...）

from 6:00 to 9:00。从6点到9点

until（直到...为止）

until 8 o'clock

with（用...；和...一起）一般加具体的有形工具。

We write with pens。我们用笔写字。

...是和...分不开的原因：The rabbit is shaking with cold。兔子冷的发抖

because of + 名词

because + 从句

due to         owing to        on account of        + 名词

The rabbit didn't go out due to/owing to/on account of the rain

of（此外的；附加的）

think about 想到关于...的事        thingk of 想起了

He thought of something iportant。他想起了一些重要的事情

besides（除了...还）

I like many things besides carrots。除了胡萝卜，我还喜欢很多东西

except（除了...）从整体中剔除出去

Everyone went ot the party except the rabbit。除了兔子每个人都去了聚会

except for   约等于美中不足的是...

The party is great except for the loud music。这个聚会很好，除了有嘈杂的音乐。
