ubuntu 8.04 adobe reader 中文支持

在Ubuntu 8.04下，默认安装了Adobe Reader,但此时并没有安装中文语言包，所以不能显示汉字文档，（但是可以显示书签）。打开包含汉字的PDF文档时，会提示下载安装语言包。从http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/acrrasianfontpack.html下载中文语言包。请注意选择正确的版本，语言及平台。

下在后解压，在已解压文件夹中运行终端，执行 ：

& sudo ./INSTALL
相应会提示是否已安装指定adobe reader版本，Continue installation?  [y]

Please type  "accept"  to accept the terms and conditions of license agreement; Type  "decline"  to exit.

Enter the location where you installed the Adobe Reader [/opt] 注意这里，在 ubuntu 8.04中自带adobe reader 安装在 /usr/lib/目录下，这里输入 /usr/lib/即可，而不是 /usr/lib/Adobe或者其他。

 

PS：ubuntu 默认的pdf阅读器不是Adobe Reader，修改为Adobe Reader的简单方法是选择一个pdf文档，右键选择“属性”，“打开方式”中选择Adobe Reader。
