The founder of Stellar, McCaleb defines that the use of Bitcoin is essentially a method of the value flow between individuals, while Stellar focuses on connecting different financial Institutions, including Bitcoin, which is the medium between traditional currency and assets, and accelerate the flow among the institutions. According to Joyce Kim, Southeast Asia would be the next active area for Stellar.
