Patch Dependencies
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 probe-nonnative-base-1_0 (需要先安装)
 probe-compatibility-3.x for OMNIbus 3.6
 Java 1.5 (需要在nco_jprobe 增加java环境变量,如果不增加,执行nco_p_tivoli_eif也不会提示错误但是进程很快就中止了)

Adding TEC-related Object Server fields
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
NOTE: If you have already installed the "Netview to Omnibus" or "TEC to Omnibus"
SQL updates, then there is no need to perform. this step

In order to map all TEC fields to Netcool Object Server fields, it is necessary
to add some extra fields to the Object Server. In order to do this, run:-

$OMNIHOME/bin/nco_sql -user -password -server
  $OMNIHOME/probes//tec_db_update.sql

( $OMNIHOME/bin/nco_sql -user root  -server HEJUN < $OMNIHOME/probes/linux2x86/tec_db_update.sql)

主要在表alerts.status 表里填加字段.

Quick Start for Unix
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 - Install patch dependencies
 - Install probe using:-
 - $OMNIHOME/install/nco_patch -install
 - Specify the port through which events will be sent using the PortNumber property
 - Run the probe using:-
   $OMNIHOME/probes/nco_p_tivoli_eif

 

The $OMNIHOME/probes/nco_p_tivoli_eif link is pointing to nco_jprobe since the EIF-Probe is a Java based Probe which requires the Nonnative Probe. The Nonnative Probe stops and starts the EIF-Probe process.

Make sure you have set the right JRE environment with checking java -version.

Or within nco_jprobe just set e.g.:

PATH=/opt/netcool/platform/linux2x86/jre_1.5.0/bin:$PATH
export PATH
