SMF (Secure Media Framework) Software Developer
Primary Responsibilities:
•        Develop and implement software products and libraries following software specifications and an architecture roadmap by performing C/C++ coding
•        Participate in developing Irdeto’s advanced software security SMF products, which includes multiple client operating systems
•        Design, code, and conduct unit testing
•        Integrate our product into customers’ products, including PC and other consumer electronic devices
•        Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with team members
Required Skills
•        Bachelor’s degree of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical degree or equivalent experience
•        3 Years+ of hands-on coding on above mentioned technologies
•        Extensive knowledge and experience of C, C++ and/or Java
•        Understanding of all phases of the software development life cycle
•        Ability to perform. unit testing
•        Ability to function effectively in a team environment
•        Experience with HTTP and XML
•        Knowledge and experience in build environment and tool, such as CVS, TFS and bug tracking tools.
•        Multimedia programming experience
•        Strong problem solving skills and an ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment
•        Experience gained in the field of Cryptography, including use thereof in Digital Rights Management Systems
•        Cross platform. development on Windows, Linux, Mac OS
•        Experience with Media player technologies, DTCP-IP, and PlayReady a plus
•        A background relating to any of the following technologies: audio/video and other media technologies, Digital Rights Management (DRM), encryption and security, DLNA, UPnP
•        Experience with media software development on desktop platforms. Familiar with QT as a plus.
•        Consumer electronic device development and integration experience
•        Good understanding of Client/Server architectures
•        Experience in an Agile development environment, including Scrum, XP, etc.
Required Experience
•        Ability to work in a fast changing, highly dynamic, geographically dispersed environment
•        Willingness to put in extra effort when required and ability to cope with demanding situations, tight dead-lines, and peaks in work load
•        Local and International travel may be required
