LED tube is a hot favourite with a broad use

In 1879 Thomas Edison, American great inventor, created the first electrical lamp with tungsten in the world. Since then the technology on lights has achieved an amazing breakthrough. At present, LED tube is a hot favourite, resulting from global energy shortage and environmental pollution which behaves particularly outstandingly in the high-speed economic development of China. LED tube meets the urgent need to solve the problem. 

In China, annual lighting electricity consumption accounts for about 12% ~ 15% of the total power consumption. A new generation of energy conservation and environmental protection light source must be found as soon as possible and applied to replac traditional one. Compared with the traditional light source, LED tube is featured with low power requirements, good drive characteristic, quicker response, high aseismicity, long service life, green environmental protection, the efficiency of constantly improving luminescence, etc. Besides, with the rapid breakthrough of compound semiconductor technology and the unceasing enhancement of packaging technology, The application of LED tube began to form in the field of lighting and gradually expand. the two bottleneck problems of restricting its occupation in the lighting field are the low efficiency of improving luminescence and high cost of luminous flux. Currently the application of LED tube is mainly concentrated on the signal, intelligent display, car lamps, landscape lighting, special lighting, etc.

In addition, human possesses great wisdom. LED tube has been connected with some irrelated things like kites and glasses. Kite amateurs tend to assemble various LED tube into attractive shape, attach it to a kite and then fly it in the black sky, which can not only cultivate their hobby and pass their spare time, but also have an opportunity to learn something on LED tube. 

When it comes to applying LED tube into glasses, Google must be mentioned. In recent years, Google, an engine giant of the world, has stepped into the fields of computers, smartphones and also health. It has been reported that Google is developing smart contact lenses with LED tube, which can measure glucose levels in tears. Google tries implanting wireless chip, glucose sensors in the middle of the lens integrated with the thin LED tube. once the glucose levels is over a certain threshold, the LED will be flashing.

 

 

However, Google said that the technology is still in development stage. Its way ahead is long. If the research attains success, this new technology will be able to change the present way of measuring the blood sugar of diabetes mellitus and provide another more simple way to measure blood sugar.

Therefore, LED tube is a hot favourite with a broad use because its practical utility and advancement. It is realized that it stills needs a great amount of research and has a long way to go. Yet high and low, LED tube will be research with will unbending.
