A heavy debate on whether cross border e-commerce must be B2B or B2C appeared in the fourth International Business Development Conference. Worldbuy gathered their opinions and concluded two main thoughts as the following:
![Must cross border e-commerce be B2B if not B2C](https://i-blog.csdnimg.cn/blog_migrate/9d31630be7ac9e49283ca9c597c7a20c.png)
The B2B mode must be the future of cross border e-commerce, and businesses have to remove the importers, that is, intermediate parts, from the trade and make a direct connection between enterprises. They insist that the nature of cross border e-commerce is to redistribute interest of China import enterprises in the traditional value chain, and seize back their pricing power in the international market. However, it is currently most urgent for them to solve brand and marketing problem. They think according to the business nature of chasing for the largest interest, they have to get rid of intermediary businesses.
For the other side, they believe that the intermediary businesses can not be killed, for they have great consumer resources, and only they can really see the consumer demands. Therefore, the current main trend is B2C. At present, the Chinese products are lack of brands, but also do not understand their consumers. They need someone to promote their products in a variety of methods, even to hire foreigners to create popular brands among foreigners for China products.
Then how to deal with the mode innovation for cross border e-commerce? Is there another mode existing?Worldbuy thinks no matter which mode we adopt, the main innovation direction for cross border e-commerce is to consolidation and integration. We can not innovate for innovation, without considering the cost. Innovation derives from high technology. For us, innovation means integrate others’ things in another new way.
