Do you like the colored tab grouping feature in Internet Explorer and wish that Firefox had that too? Enjoy setting up your favorite tab color scheme with the FlagTab extension for Firefox.

Once you install the extension and restart Firefox, you are ready to start enjoying that tab organizing goodness. If you want to go ahead and start using FlagTab then you can access the sub-menu using the “Right Click Menu” for the tab(s). Notice that you can choose the color that you would like to use for grouping tabs, clear an individual tab or all tabs at once, and access the options.

For our example we decided to set up a brighter color scheme and relabel the fourth option color.

Here you can see that the open tabs from two websites are staying nicely color-coded based on their grouping…one parent tab and one child tab per color (nice!).
