Installing
安装
After ordering, you will be shown a page with a link to download the Leadwerks updater, for Windows and Mac. You can always go back to theClient Area later and view your purchases to download the installer again.
在订购后,将看到带Leaweweks 升级器(windwos和Mac)链接的网页,也可以随时返回到Client Area查看你的订单来以下载安装。
When you run the installer it will look like this:

You will receive an email with your registration key, normally within one business day. When you get it, enter this key in theRegistration Key field. Press theUpdate button to begin downloading the latest version of Leadwerks.
If your computer is connecting to the Internet through a proxy, you must enter the proxy server name for the install process to work.
如果电脑通过代理链接到Interne,必须填写代理服务器的名称和端口安装程序才能正常工作
You can use the updater to update Leadwerks any time we upload a new file. The installer will only download files that are newer than the one on your hard drive, so you can check for updates without re-installing the whole program.
我们上传新文件后,在任何时刻都可以通过升级器进行升级。升级器只会下载比你磁盘上新的文件,所以不用通过重新安装

If you order any add-on packages separately, you will receive an email indicating that your account has been upgraded. After that, just run the updater again and the files for your new add-on will automatically be downloaded.
如果单独订购了额外的包,将收到一封邮件列出你的已经升级,之后重新运行升级器,新购买的包将会自动被下载

Leadwerks will run on any of the following devices:- Android 2.3 device.
- iOS 6 device.
- OSX Lion (10.7).
- Windows XP, Vista, 7, or 8, with an OpenGL 2.1 compatible graphics card. Please install the latest drivers forNvidia,AMD, or Intel graphics hardware.

Building Games with Leadwerks

Most of your work with Leadwerks will take place in the editor

Importing Assets
导入资源
You can import your own assets by selecting the File > Import menu item and choosing the file you want to import. You can also just copy the files into your game project directory and Leadwerks will detect and convert them.
通过File->Import菜单来选择要导入的资源。也可以把文件拷贝到工程文件夹下,Leadwerks可以自动识别并转换
Leadwerks will automatically detect file changes and reimport assets if they are changed by an external program.
如果资源被外部程序改变,Leadwerks会自动检测到文件改变并重新导入

Brushes are simple building blocks created right in the editor that are used to make the walls, floors, and provide structure for your game level. Modelsare made in an external modeling program and imported and placed in the editor.Special Entities are objects that behave in a specific way, like a light or a particle emitter.

Typically, a level designer will block out the general layout of a scene using brushes, then populate the scene with models and special entities to add detail.

When you create a new project, it must be compiled before you can run it from the editor. Leadwerks uses Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 to compile on Windows, and Xcode 4 to compile on OSX

Publishing Your Game

The project manager includes tools to publish your final game. This will package your game up in a format that is ready to play by other people.
