- 7+ yrs Strong programming experience in Java & Oracle

- Bachelors / Masters Degree in technically minded disciplines.
- Develop innovative software using cutting-edge technologies, with an emphasis on reusability and test drive ness.

- Mentor/Coach other team members and bringing new learning to the team.
- Deliver medium to larger size tech initiative using pre-determined methods to the agreed standard of quality.
- Technically strong in Core java and Advanced Java concepts like Multithreading, TCP/ IP Sockets, RMI, JMS, OSGI, JDBC, Oracle, Unix/Solaris.
- Good Knowledge in Architectural and Design patterns
- Good design skills and problem solving capabilities and Good exposure to System Architecture
- Capable delivering projects end to end with a team size of 2-8 or as an independent contributor if need be
- Experience in product development with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Event Driven Architecture (EDA) is an added advantage
Job Description
- strong technical background in developing JAVA/J2EE and SOA based platforms and general system architecture. Enterprise level experience of delivering products and systems to suit various customer needs.
- Experienced in advising and guiding development teams on the entire SDLC and principles needed for developing solutions that are fit for purpose, robust, scable and peformance driven.
- Customer facing skills such as requirements gathering, proof of concept development for new products, running technical product roadshows would be a plus.
Help translate business-speak into system qualities, repeatable designs and patterns - Maintain and communicate the on-going systems big picture and the target architecture
- Solution design
- As expert in multiple technical areas and domain areas, expected to solve wicked problems and provide timely solutions
- Define and maintain the target architecture
- Relevant innovation in technology, tools, processes with a close watch on the world outside through concepts, benchmarks and evaluations.
- Percolate innovations and new technologies with a measured approach (proofs of concept, phased adoption, etc.)
- Ensure target architecture and technology roadmaps are aligned with business values, needs and strategy
- Evangelize and share relevant knowledge throughout the organization at all levels
- Promote the needs for change/innovation with the business leaders, product management, planning organization by presenting the correct business case
- Help harmonize needs for change across business verticals
- Be on the constant look out for problems to solve that impede progress on quality, efficiency, agility.
- Facilitate and provide consultancy on target architecture
- Interview candidates, provide inputs on people’s technical capabilities
- Occasionally manage teams of 3-5 to deliver solutions
