Software Engineering is Dead …

前几天在Dzone上看到这篇文章：Software Engineering: Dead? 。深有感触。

引用其中一些观点：

1. ...software engineering is an idea whose time has come and gone .

2. ...as a software developer: what we do is craftsmanship, not engineering .

3. ...advocating a management approach, one that might well steer the team toward agile methods

    (STEER, not management)

4. The guys and gals who show up every day eager to hone their craft , who are passionate about building stuff that matters to them, and perhaps in some small way, to the rest of the world -- those are the people and projects that will ultimately succeed.

 

或许在某些环境下，软件工程还不能完全dead，但是文中观点深有同感。
