Since China entered WTO, more and more foreigners have came to China to look for suppliers or factories. To a certain extent, it brings us sufficient business opportunities. But under certain circ, it has been benefited most trade companies or SOHO but not the real manufacturer itself. Although trade companies or SOHO are getting more and more important in the import and export business, for the real manufacturer, it has been affected a lot.
Why I would say that? There is a very interesting phenomenon that most factories in China still keep the door closed to the outside world. So it brings many opportunities to the trade companies or SOHO to connect with the direct customers group.
We, Edell sexy lingerie company are the one of the sexy lingerie manufacturer in Guangzhou, China.As a manufacturer, such a situation is a bad influence on us as well.
 Before we built up the factory, we had realized this situation. So we decided to focus on the promotion at first. Even we made our effect on the promotion; most customers would rather choose the trade companies or SOHO.
 
The SOHO people just need to set up a website and put the pictures on their site, and then they can tell the customers they have their own sexy lingerie factory. Who knows which the real sexy underwear manufacturer is? No one knows.
Frankly, I know most foreign customers also gamble their luck as well as our real manufacturer.
 
How about the trade companies? On the one hand, our manufacturers should thank for them in certain circ. For the reason they sometimes will really bring us business and save our time in looking for the customers. On the other hand, they will handle all export procedures instead of manufacturer itself. But, the main barrier is the price.
Take the sexy underwear business as example, if we quote RMB30 for one model, definitely the trade companies will add 5%-10% on our original price. It is ridiculous when you need a customer to accept another 5% or 10%.So the trade companies like to demand low price again and again.
In this case, many manufacturers open up fierce competition with each other. Lower the price at their abilities, but mess up the market.
 
This is the current situation of the Chinese manufacturer. No matter what kind of the business, sexy lingerie, clothing, electronic, shoes and so on.
