2007年互联网与创业渐行渐远

整体上说2007年的互联网仍然是有看头的，其中包括阿里巴巴上市，巨人上市，百度股价飙升等事件其影响力并不弱于当年三大门户的上市，但从创业的角度上讲，2007年的互联网与创业却是渐行渐远的。

 

首先来看看Web2.0，Web2.0中几乎只有视频业务为一枝独秀，尤其是年末优酷再度融资2500万美元，似乎终结了关于视频行业的所有猜疑。连艾瑞总裁杨伟庆也站出来公开表明看好视频，尤其是在2008年，在奥运会的推波助澜下，视频行业一定会再创辉煌。2007年的Web2.0显然是冰火两重天，除了红红火火的视频，其他业务几乎不值得一提。

 

而Web2.0在很多人看来已经成为互联网创业的另一片处女地，早期的电子商务，网络游戏等行业已经是巨头林立。和早期的互联网模式相比，Web2.0并不乏新颖的概念，但大多缺乏成熟模式。

 

投资者对互联网的感觉已经从春天迈入了冬天，例如视频，由于缺乏VC的介入，九成以上的视频网站将死在视频行业即将成熟的“节骨眼”上。即便不死，大多也如同王小二过年一年不如一年，显然，对整个行业的不景气，投资者只会“落井下石”而非“雪中送炭”。

 

NVCA发布的2007年VC投资预测显示，能源、媒体、互联网仍是2007年VC重点关注的行业。而内地知名创投公司，则未雨绸缪，把替代新能源、医疗器械、无线因特网技术、第二方企业调整改革和人工智能眼定为未来重点领域。

 

最近和一些朋友聊到互联网创业的话题，谈到一些另类的项目包括一些特色化的广告平台。但我个人不太看好互联网创业。一些Idea很好，但一个成熟的Idea要发展成为具备成熟盈利模式的商业项目却比登天还难。互联网剽窃很严重，光有一个好的Idea是远远不够的，市场的拓展，竞争门槛的树立甚至比Idea重要得多。

 

这并不代表互联网整个行业进入冬天，2008年国内互联网巨头仍然会赚得盆满钵满，只不过2008年，互联网创业仍然不会有太大的起色。

 

Internet has got far away from Start up.

 

Generally speaking in 2007 there are many highlights in Internet. The highlights include that Alibaba and Giant went public and the stock of Baidu raised highly. These events, may be not less effective influential than the oldest three portals. But from the edge of start up, Internet has got far away from Start up in 2007.

 

First of all, let’s enjoy Web2.0, just video is the most wonderful business in such many branches of Web2.0. Youku has just taken in a large capital of 2500 dollars. Maybe it ended all questions of video.

Weiqing Yang, the chairman of Ireasearch publicated his view that he fancied the chance of video. Especially in 2008, with the promotion of Olympic Games, video must be more prosperous. Except video, tother industries are just out of our discussion.

 

May friends consider Web2.0 as another virgin soil. The former E-business and On-line game have become “Red Sea”. Comparing with the mode of former Internet.,Web2.0 isn’t lack of constructive concept but mature profitable mode.

 

The feeling of VC on Internet is entering winter from spring. For example video, if no VC, more than 90% will be dead in the especial period of video. Some will become worse and worse. Evidently because of the depression of whole industry, VC won’t pay any attention to unpromising thing.

 

NVCA publicated the prediction of VC in 2007.  it shows that energy, media and Internet are still the most popular industries for VC. But the famous VC inland pay more attention in new energy, medical treatment and wireless Internet and artificial intelligence.

 

Recently, I chatted with some friends on Internet. We talked about some topic about some new projects for example characteristic advertisement platform. As a matter of fact, I don’t look high upon Internet Entrepreneurship. Maybe some are with good idea, but one idea is so far away from one business mode which is mature and profitable. It is so easy to copy the mode from one to another. So it is not enough for only one idea. The expansion of market and the threshold of competition are much more important.

 

That doesn’t mean that the winter has come. In 2008, most internet companies can still obtain some opportunities. But the Entrepreneurship in 2008 won’t be much better.
