[DOCTOR] Stay in bed and, uh, drink plenty of liquids, If you don't feel better after 24 hours, I want you to call the nurse.

Grammar

1. For and Since

含for和since的现在完成进行时。一般用含现在完成进行时的for指在过去开始一直到现在的一段时间。

I’ve been feeling bad for a few days.
I’ve been waiting for the nurse for 20 minutes.

使用since搭配现在完成进行时，强调某事开始的时间点。

I’ve been feeling nauseous since Tuesday.
I’ve been having trouble sleeping since last Friday.
I’ve been waiting for the nurse since I arrived.

注意，在使用since时，分句顺序可以变换。如果since引导的分句位于句首，请在该分句之后加上逗号。

Since I got home, I’ve been feeling terrible.
I’ve been feeling terrible since I got home.
