独在异乡为异客，每逢佳节倍思亲。
A lonely stranger in a strange land I am cast, I miss my family all the more on every festive day.

路漫漫其修远兮，吾将上下而求索。
The way ahead is long; I see no ending, yet high and low I’ll search with my will unbending.

举头望明月，低头思故乡。
Raising my head, I see the moon so bright; withdrawing my eyes, my nostalgia comes around.

亦余心之所善兮，虽九死其犹未悔

For the ideal that I hold dear to my heart，I ’d not regret a thousand times to die.

苟利国家生死以，其因祸福避趋之
I shall dedicate myself to the interests of the country in life and 
death irrespective of personal weal and woe.
行百里者半九十
Half of people who have embrked on a one hundred mile journey may fail by the wayside.
华山再高，顶有过路
No matter how high the mountain is one can always assend to its tops.
入则恳恳以尽忠
When one is in office he should discharge his duty conscientiously.
出则谦谦以自悔
When leaving office he should conduct himself with humanity and exercise self-reflection.

居庙堂之高则忧其民，处江湖之远则忧其君。

And as an exile as he would be ,he would still preserve his fixation upon the sovereign and his lord.

众里寻他千百度。蓦然回首，那人却在，灯火阑珊处。

Hither and thither,for a thousand and one times my keen searches endure,

Until I turn my back, alas, she gleams in lights, sparse and obscure.

落霞与孤鹜齐飞，秋水共长天一色。

The descending clouds, align themselves with the solitary bird on their flight in view, 

while the tranquility of the water blends in with the dimension of the sky into the same hue.
