For run-time images in RAM: This configuration option allows all unused run-time image RAM to be used as system RAM and object store RAM without modification of the .bib memory parameters. This configuration option can also be used to take more memory from the RAM section and provide it to the RAMIMAGE section.
This option uses the following syntax:
AUTOSIZE = OFF | ON
Parameters
-
OFF
- By default, Romimage.exe does not combine unused run-time image RAM. ON
- Romimage.exe combines the RAM and run-time image memory regions into one region, with the run-time image filled from the lowest address to the highest. The RAM parameters in the table of contents are modified to allow the system to use all remaining RAM.

This option uses the following syntax.
ROMSIZE = size
Parameters
-
size
- The size, in bytes, of the ROM.
Remarks
This configuration option, along with ROMSTART and ROMWIDTH, defines the .abx data format.
The following code example shows how a CONFIG section can use configuration options to define the .abx format for a 4-MB target device.
ROMSTART=80000000 ROMSIZE=400000 ROMWIDTH=32
In this example, Romimage.exe creates one 4-MB absolute binary data format file with extension .ab0.
