基于Oracle高级特性的技术改造

Oracle Fail Safe 是适用于 Windows 2003 R2 和 Windows 2008 的所有 Oracle 11g 和 Oracle 10g 许可的核心特性。它是一种高可用软件，与 Microsoft Cluster Server 集成在一起，为配置和验证 Windows 集群以及 Oracle 数据库和应用程序故障自动切换提供快速、简便和准确的方法。

发生系统故障时，Oracle Fail Safe 与 Microsoft Cluster Server 一起工作，在幸存的集群节点上重新启动 Oracle 数据库和应用程序。您可以使用 Oracle Fail Safe 进行监视和故障切换：

• Oracle 数据库（标准版和企业版）
• 选择 Oracle Application Server 组件
• Oracle 管理代理
• 其他 Oracle 管理软件

Oracle Fail Safe 也可以在节点重新恢复服务时实现灵活的故障恢复；为循序的集群升级和负载平衡提供有计划的故障切换；以及通过其命令行界面编写高可用性任务的脚本。

1、ofs是windows环境专用

2、ofs支持情况3.4.2版本：

Oracle Fail Safe Manager is compatible with the following operating systems.

• Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2
• Microsoft Windows Server 2008
• Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2

Oracle Fail Safe Manager is not supported on Itanium platforms.

Oracle Fail Safe Server is compatible with the software listed in the table below.

3、ofs不支持asm自动存储管理

4、在mscs中，ofs的文件作为资源组很关键，FsResOdbs.dll, in <Oracle_Home>\fs\fssvr\bin.If the resource DLL is not there, reinstall Oracle Fail Safe.

5、如果是windows2000，需要设置dcom安全性，使用系统权限，参考Microsoft Support article Q274696

6、Oracle Services for MSCS and Microsoft Cluster Server Can Run
Under Different Accounts
When your cluster was first configured and Microsoft Cluster Server was first
installed, it was installed under a Microsoft Windows user account.
Oracle Services for MSCS runs as a Microsoft Windows service under a domain
user account (not the system account) that has Administrator privileges on all
cluster nodes. When you install Oracle Services for MSCS, you are instructed to
provide a user name and password combination for a user account that has the
required privileges. This account does not have to be the same account under
which Microsoft Cluster Server was installed.
When "Is Alive" polling of Oracle Fail Safe resources is performed using the
Microsoft Windows account under which Microsoft Cluster Server is running,
not the account under which Oracle Services for MSCS is running.

7、安装时到最后需要root执行CRS_HOME/root.sh，这时有错误

PROT-1: Failed to initialize ocrconfig
Failed to upgrade Oracle Cluster Registry configuration

原因是没有mount好，对于ocfs2来说，可以store，datafile，control file，redo file，archive file和crs和voting disk，但是必须在mount时加上datavolume
#mount -t ocfs2 -o datavolume /dev/sdb1 /crsdata

8、在执行root.sh时有时会挂在那里，是crs和voting disk没有format好，重新format好，然后装载
#ocfs2conosole
先umount，然后format，接着用上面的方式装载。

9、在root.sh install deamon是有时会告知如下信息
Running vipca(silent) for configuring nodeapps
The given interface(s), “eth2″ is not public. Public interfaces should be used to
configure virtual IPs.

重新用$CRS_HOME/bin/vipca执行，设置vip即可。

10、有时RAC安装失败了，一定要把crs删除干净了才能安装，要不有些怪异的错误，ocr和votingdisk要格式化以后再重新mount才行。
